WebI will be moving out-of-state soon and would like to keep “seeing” my therapist via Skype sessions. I currently have Medicaid in my current state, and will probably have that as well in my new state. To make things more interesting, my therapist will also be moving out-of-state (different state than me) soon. Webphysical therapist assistants (PTAs) and occupational therapy assistants (OTAs) meet Medicare personnel qualifications. All therapy provided consists of skilled and medically necessary services and is appropriate to each patient's plan of care. Therapists can enroll in Medicare as providers of PT or OT services, but therapy assistants cannot.
