WebSevathon is the walkathon that aims to set the standard as the largest social and service platform of its kind. It recognizes, supports, and nurtures a spirit of giving by empowering individuals of diverse backgrounds to unite and strengthen their communities. WebDance-A-Thon or Dance marathons are events in which people dance or walk or move to music for an extended period of time. They started as dance contests in the 1920s and developed into entertainment events during the Great Depression. In the 70s they gained popularity at universities as students joined in to support their favorite charities.
